As a clinician, I have worked in a diversity of populations and environment, which include at risk adolescents, wilderness therapy, active duty soldiers at Walter Reed, children in foster care, elementary & high schools, substance abuse, eating disorders, homelessness, and rape crisis. My focus is to empower the individual and help them heal through artistic expression, increased communication skills, and self discovery. Additionally, I specialize in trauma informed care. I love working with all age groups and backgrounds, and I am excited to open my practice to humanitarians and military on assignment for telecounseling.

As a global art therapist and public health professional, my focus is to bring expressive arts therapy best practices to communities who have limited to no access to mental health clinicians and licensed art therapists. I believe that communities have important resources that can aid in the emotional and social recovery of their communities, families, and children, but in many cases mental health clinicians are severely limited. My focus is to work alongside the already existing infrastructure to fill in the mental health access gaps through ethical and sustainable capacity building. My work experience ranges from West, South, & East Africa, India, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Caribbean, and North America. I have been the Founder & Executive Director of Playing to Live since 2014 and the program director for 2 pilot programs, a large scale program during the Ebola epidemic, and a large scale needs and resource assessment.  I have led workshops & trainings and presented at national, international, & events to share knowledge on the effects of art and community building.
